💜💛 Grandparents Picnic – Monday, September 14! 💛💜

Highland Lakes Families,

We are excited to welcome our grandparents and special guests to HLES for lunch with their Mustangs! 🐴❤️ Lunch times will follow our regular schedule. See attachment for grade level lunch times. Please arrive early (~10-15min) to allow time to check in and walk to the cafeteria to meet students. 

🍎 When You Arrive
Guests may check in at the front office with our front office crew, or use one of our new check-in kiosks—whatever is easiest!

🟢 Planning to Check Your Student Out After Lunch?
Please let our receptionist know when you check in. You will receive a green dot to show that you plan to check your student out.
After lunch:
• Walk with your student to their teacher and let the teacher know you are checking them out.
• Then stop by our sign-out table located outside under the carport, along the sidewalk near the cafeteria exit, to officially sign them out.
Please remember that if a student leaves school early, the time missed will be reflected in their attendance and count as an absence.

🧺 Where Can We Eat?
Families are welcome to enjoy lunch on our front porch, at the picnic tables, or in our sidewalk/grass picnic areas. We highly encourage bringing a blanket for a Grandparents Picnic in case our tables and porch areas fill up!
